    The V Shop is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Our flexible schedule ensures you can plan vehicle maintenance and repairs around your busy life.


    Please note that we are closed for lunch every day from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

  • Where are you located?

    You can find The V Shop at 1330 SW Troy St, Portland, OR 97219. Conveniently located, we make it easy for Volvo owners across Portland to access expert auto repair services.

  • What types of vehicles do you work on?

    We specialize exclusively in servicing Volvo vehicles from model year 1999 and newer. Our focused expertise ensures your Volvo receives the highest level of care and precision.

  • Can I book an appointment online?

    This is a feature that we are hoping to utilize in the future but at the moment suggest reaching out via phone or email to set one up due to the extent of information we will need to make sure you and your car are well taken care of. Current limitations require us to follow up with a call or email anyway.

  • Do you offer bodywork services?

    Yes, to some extent. While we do not offer in-house painting or metalwork, we can replace parts using factory-painted components like bumper covers, trim, taillights, and mirror assemblies. We also coordinate with trusted local shops to match paint colors to your factory specifications.

  • Do you offer tire or alignment services?

    Not at this time. However, we are planning to add tire and alignment services in the future to provide a more convenient, one-stop solution for our customers.

  • Do you offer rides or have a loaner vehicle available?

    We do not offer rides or loaner vehicles. To assist, we provide after-hours drop-off and pick-up options and discounted rental rates through Enterprise just up the street.

  • Are Your Services Cost-Effective?

    Absolutely. We provide dealership-quality Volvo service at a more affordable rate, helping you maintain your vehicle’s performance and longevity without overpaying.

  • Do you offer any discounts?

    We proudly offer discounts to military personnel, veterans, seniors, and educators as a way to give back to those who serve our community.

    Yes, we keep open communication with our clients and provide updates during the service process, ensuring you stay informed about your vehicle’s repair or maintenance progress.

  • Do you install client-supplied parts?

    No, we only install parts that we source ourselves. This ensures we can guarantee the quality of the parts and provide a proper warranty on the work we perform.

  • Can you fit me in for service or repair today?

    Typically, we are booked 1–3 weeks out for routine service and repairs but at the moment we are short handed and scheduling out more than two months. However, we do try to leave room for emergencies and ask that you don’t hesitate to contact us to inquire about how we can help you.

  • Can I wait at the shop while my vehicle is being repaired?

    We generally discourage waiting during repairs. Having flexibility allows us more time to thoroughly inspect your vehicle, order any needed parts, and ensure we deliver the safest and most complete service possible. As a smaller shop, once we start on a vehicle, it can be difficult to switch between jobs.
